These terms apply when you order from zazsi. By placing an order you agree to them. If anything is unclear, ask us before you order: [email protected].
Who we are
Portugal
The service
zazsi is a digital service. We restore old photos and create short animated videos from them, optionally combined into a montage film with music, and a private gift page and printable card for gifts. Everything is delivered digitally by email or download link. Nothing is shipped.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars: $19 for the first photo, $9 for each additional photo, and $49 to add a montage film. You upload your photos and details first, then pay securely through Stripe before we start. Prices are shown in USD at checkout.
Delivery times
We aim to deliver within the times below, counted in business days (Monday to Friday, excluding weekends) from when we have your photos and your payment.

These are targets, not guarantees. If you need your videos for a particular date, tell us when you order and we will say honestly whether we can make it. If we are late, tell us and we will do our best to put it right.
Your photos and your rights
- You confirm that you own the photos you upload, or have the right and permission to use them and to have them animated (including photos of family members and of people who have passed away).
- You must not upload content that is unlawful, abusive or that you have no right to use.
- We use your photos only to make your videos. We never sell them, and we never share them publicly or use them in our marketing without your permission.
- You can ask us to delete your files at any time. Otherwise we delete them 12 months after delivery (see our privacy policy).
Licence to use your videos
When you have paid, we give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to keep, play and share your videos with family and friends, including on social media, for personal, non-commercial use. You may not sell them or use them commercially without our written agreement. Music in montage films is licensed for personal use only.
AI-generated results and what to expect
Our animations are created with the help of AI tools and reviewed by a person. They are an artistic interpretation of your photo, not real footage, and they do not show what the person actually did or said. We never add speech. Results vary with the quality of the photo: faces that are very small, blurry or hidden may animate less well. We will tell you if a photo is unlikely to work.
Changes and problems
If you are not happy with a result, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will make reasonable changes (1 round is included). If a photo cannot be animated well, we will tell you honestly. All sales are final and we do not offer refunds. This does not affect any rights you have by law.
Liability
We take great care with your photos, but you should keep your own copy of every original. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live. Please contact us first at [email protected] and we will try to solve the problem.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you order is the one that applies to your order.
